If the cards match, the player keeps the pair and continues their turn. If they don’t match, the turn passes to the other player. When all pairs have been found, the player with the most matches wins.
Q: What is the chess‑piece clue system?
A: After the first card is flipped, a small chess‑piece icon appears to give a directional clue about where the matching card is located on the grid:
- Rook: The match is in the same row or column
- Bishop: The match is on a diagonal
- Knight: The match is in an L‑shaped position
- King: The match is in one of the adjacent squares
- No piece: The match is not reachable in a single move by those pieces
These clues are optional but add a strategic, puzzle‑like element to the classic memory game.
